Refund Policy

Introduction

We want BolWise to be worth paying for, and we know it will not be right for everyone. This policy explains when we issue refunds.

Try It Free First

BolWise has a free trial — 30 minutes of dictation to use over 14 days, no card required. Please use it before subscribing. It is the fastest way to find out whether BolWise works with your voice, your accent, your microphone, and the languages you use.

30-Day Refund Window

We offer a 30-day refund window from the date of your first purchase. Within that period, email us and we will refund you in full. You do not need a reason.

Because the window runs from your first purchase, renewal charges are not separately refundable. If you do not want to renew, cancel before your renewal date — you can see and manage your renewal date on your account page at any time.

If Something Goes Wrong

If BolWise is materially broken for you — it will not start, it fails to transcribe, or a bug we cannot fix stops you using it — tell us and we will refund you regardless of how long you have been subscribed. Please describe the problem before requesting a refund so we have a chance to fix it. Most issues are faster to solve than to refund.

If you were charged in error — billed after cancelling, or charged twice — email us and we will correct it.

Cancelling

Cancel any time from your account page on bolwise.com, or by emailing us. Your Pro access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing further is charged. After that your account can no longer be used for dictation until you subscribe again — the free trial is a one-time trial and does not come back. If we refund that payment in full, Pro ends immediately and the account returns to trial. Your account and your local dictation history are not deleted. We do not prorate or refund partial periods.

When We Will Not Refund

We do not refund accounts suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service — for example automated or bulk use of our backend, account sharing, or attempts to bypass fair-use limits — except where the law where you live requires it. We may also decline repeated refund requests from the same person or across multiple accounts.

How to Request a Refund

Email support@bolwise.com from the address on your account, with the approximate date of the payment. We reply within 2 business days.

Approved refunds are processed through Razorpay and are credited to your original payment method. They typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer. Refunds are issued in the currency you were charged in; your bank's exchange rate may make the amount in your local currency differ slightly.

Chargebacks

Please email us before filing a chargeback. Chargebacks take longer for you, cost us a fee, and usually mean the account is suspended while the dispute runs. We would much rather just refund you.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any refund or cancellation right your local consumer law gives you. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal on distance contracts; because BolWise starts immediately on purchase, you consent to that immediate start at checkout. Our voluntary 30-day window above is more generous either way.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted here and apply to purchases made afterwards.
